This excursion involves searching for and learning about marine creatures such as crabs, plaice, and sea scorpions. Participants can observe seals in their natural habitat on the sandbanks of the Eider. The trip includes a visit to the Multimar Wattforum in Tönning, providing detailed information about the National Park. Additionally, the lock passage at the Eider Barrage is experienced, with explanations on its role within the National Park.

Begin your maritime adventure in Tönning or at the Eider Barrage. On board the MS “Adler II,” you will experience an exciting marine animal catch, where you can get up close to various sea creatures and receive expert explanations. The tour takes you past the seal banks of the Eider, where you have the opportunity to observe these charming marine animals. At the Multimar Wattforum in Tönning, the largest information center for the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park, you can then learn even more about the flora and fauna of the mudflats. The exhibitions include interactive stations, experiments, and short films. Additionally, you can get very close to native marine animals in numerous aquariums.
